    Convenient and Cooling Postpartum Relief

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this postpartum care accessory. These padsicles were great in providing cooling relief to healing areas. I preferred using them frozen. They stacked well in my freezer and were compact enough they didn’t take up too much space. The material was just the right length and thickness. I do wish they had contained a little more of the gel mixture, which I think would’ve made each use last longer. I also didn’t realize this wasn’t an absorbing pad, but that I would need my own pads to then put these on top of. My favorite thing about this product is that they were super convenient! I loved that I didn’t have to make them myself and I could simply pull one out of the freezer and use it; it’s ready to go.

    Postpartum Padsicles cooling relief

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this postpartum care accessory, as it made my return home from the hospital that much easier. The postpartum padsicles, which I had placed in my fridge and freezer prior to going to the hospital, were extrememly convenient to place into my pad for some pain relief to my pelvic floor following the trauma of birth. I loved the fact that I did not have to assemble the healing pad on my own, like many I had read about online; it was all in one nice little package ready to use.The flexible gel covered foam easily molded to my body, even when it came straight from the freezer. One small gripe I have with the product is having to unfold the pad so it would lay flat after taking it out of the box and putting it in the fridge/freezer. I believe shipping had made them fold over on themselves and it was easily fixable, though annoying. My only concern with the postartum padsicle is that it did not stay cold for very long; maybe 10-15 minutes at the most if frozen and 10 minutes max if coming from the fridge. If I had not been using the hospitals homemade frozen pads during my stay there whose cold relief lasted for 20-30 minutes, I would have thought 10-15 minutes of relief was amazing. With that being said, if I took the padsicle straight from the freezer and placed it in my pad, it was too cold to have directly against my skin. I found if I let it sit on the counter for 5 minutes before placing it, then the level of cold was tolerable and a wonderful relief.

    Postpartum Padsicles To The Rescue

I recently got these to be prepared postpartum after having my first child. I was pleasantly surprised with the small form factor and how easy it was to pop these in the fridge or freezer so they were ready to go. I'm pretty particular with what types of products I'm willing to use, especially in such a sensitive area, but these padsicles had the same limited ingredients including witch hazel that were provided to me in the hospital. These ended up being the perfect segue from the large and bulky ice packs I was using at the hospital. Pro tip as each person is different - I found these to provide the most relief after letting them thaw for a few minutes. It felt like the fridge wasn't cool enough and straight out of the freezer was a little too cold. Also, be prepared that these can be a little messy so having scissors to open and something to wipe your hands is very helpful. Overall, great product and a trusted brand. Huge thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this postpartum care accessory.

    Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles

I received Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles to try and review as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I just gave birth to my 3rd child.. a healthy baby boy! I delivered him vaginally along with his two older sisters. Prepping for his birth I gathered the supplies I like to have on hand and ready for postpartum recovery. After my first two deliveries I had ready: pads, witch hazel prepped pads, peri-bottle and perineal ice packs. I was excited to receive and try Lansioh’s Postpartum Padsicles as an alternative to the perineal ice packs I have used in the past. The Lansioh Padsicles need to be placed in your freezer prior to use. They are very thin which I found to be very comfortable and less bulky. The cooling effect and relief provided felt really nice. Like other ice packs I have used it doesn’t last very long, probably 10-15 minutes. Overall I liked the slimness of the product. The cooling effect was very comfortable. Cons for me were the fact that I had to retrieve the product out of the freezer prior to use and the length of cooling relief I experienced.

    Soothing Miracles

Unlike the ice pads you are given at the hospital, these Padsicles are thin and easy to wear. They seem to last the perfect amount of time to provide comfort and easy to dispose. I am on day 3 of recovery from birth and I am still using them frequently. I chose to freeze instead of refrigerate to increase the effectiveness, but I have a few in the fridge as well for future options. The most enjoyable part of this product was the simple design and desired effect. I would recommend to any postpartum mamma. Especially as an addition to a self-care basket for their return home from the hospital (as pictured along with other necessities). Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this postpartum care accessory.

    Game changer for postpartum recovery

The Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles have truly been a game-changer for me during my second natural birth experience. As someone who has experienced both 3rd and 1st degree tears in childbirth, I can confidently say that these padsicles have made a significant impact on my postpartum recovery.

One of the standout features of the Lansinoh padsicles is the gel-like material they are made of, which made them feel almost weightless and barely there. This unique texture provided a cooling and soothing effect that was incredibly comforting during a time of discomfort and healing.

What I appreciated most about the Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles was how they simplified my postpartum routine. Instead of juggling multiple products like pads, ice packs, and witch hazel pads, I could rely on the padsicles to provide immediate relief without the bulkiness. The convenience and effectiveness of this product were unparalleled, and it made a significant difference in my overall comfort and healing process.

I wish I had known about this product during my first natural birth, as it would have alleviated so much of the discomfort and stress I experienced. I found the hot ice a bit intense initially, but a quick rinse with water helped to reduce the sting. Personally, I preferred using the padsicles frozen as it provided longer-lasting relief.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles enough to any new mom in need of postpartum relief. This product has simplified and improved my postpartum recovery experience, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to test it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has truly been a lifesaver during this challenging yet rewarding time.
