Supply

Question:

My son is 5 months old and I didn't breastfeed due to some problems but my supply is yet to dry up???? What can I do ? What am I doing wrong?

Answer:

Thank you for your question.  It is normal for your body to continue to produce milk even after stopping breastfeeding.  You are not doing anything wrong at all.  It will eventually dry up but it does take some time and that time varies from person to person. Here is some more information about how you can do what is called "lactation suppression".  While not all of this is applicable to you as it talks about weaning but I hope some of the tips are helpful for you: https://www.breastfeedingbasics.com/articles/lactation-suppression   Best wishes
