Breastmilk

Question:

How long can milk sit out before it's not good anymore?

Answer:

Shay,

Breastmilk can be at room temperature for up to 8 hours -as long as it is ambient temperature (not too extremely hot) and as long as the baby has not fed from the bottle or container it is in.  The reason for this is because when baby drinks, bacteria can grow so that would need to be used within an hour or discarded.

Kindest Regards,
