Certified Lactation Counselor
“I know I’ve made an impact when a mom calls me back to say she was able to overcome her challenges and continue breastfeeding with my guidance.” Gina serves as both a lactation and peer counselor. Before Gina’s career focused on breastfeeding, she was inspired to be an advocate when she encountered challenges and barriers as a breastfeeding and pumping mom.
Prior to Lansinoh, she co-managed the Department of Health & Human Services/Ad Council National Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign. Gina wants moms to know that while the early days can be rough, it gets better and breastfeeding is worth it because of the amazing and long-lasting health and emotional benefits for mom and baby.
Gina has a BA from the University of Dayton, a MS in Public and Community Health from Trinity University and is a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC). When she’s not arming new moms with education, support and knowledge, you can find her road tripping with her children in their breastfeeding-bedazzled truck.
