Not Getting Suctioned Into my Pump

Question:

Hi,

I have a Lansinoh double breast pump. I have been pumping since my daughter was born which will be 5 months next week. The last month I have been having problems not getting suctioned into the flanges. Its hit and miss sometimes I get suctioned in right away other times it takes 5 minutes, sometimes its 12 minutes later and I am pushing pulling and still not getting suctioned in.

My freezer stash is now gone and since I work full time I have to supplement with formula, which my daughter hates. Please help me!! I am busty so I think I may need a larger breast shield/ flange? I just find it odd that I am now having problems where the first 3 months I could pump like a champ.

Thank you for the help,
Nicole
