Sleeping with Bottles

My daughter just turned 6 months and she likes to fall asleep with her bottle. Should I break her of this habit now or should I wait?

I would recommend watching your baby as she feeds. If you notice that she starts to fall asleep while feeding from the bottle, gently remove it from her mouth. If she starts to stir, allow her some time to see if she settles down again and goes back to sleep or if she really does want to continue feeding. It isn't recommended that babies be allowed to sleep with bottles.

Kindest Regards,
